VOCATIONAL CLASS

Village Ranch’s Vocational Class is designed to provide youth with practical skills and hands-on experience to prepare them for the workforce. This program focuses on teaching valuable trade and career-oriented skills while fostering confidence, responsibility, and a strong work ethic.

The goal of the Vocational Class is to equip participants with the tools and mindsets they need to achieve personal and professional success, empowering them to transition into adulthood with independence and purpose.

Village Ranch’s Vocational Program provides adolescent males ages 12-18 with hands-on learning opportunities that foster growth, skill development, and confidence. Through projects like wood banks, name carvings, custom wood boxes, scale model houses, robotics, and mechanisms involving pulleys and gears, students explore their creativity while gaining valuable technical skills.

These activities not only teach practical abilities but also emphasize the importance of a growth mindset—helping students understand that challenges and mistakes are tools for learning and improvement.

The program is designed to encourage collaboration, problem-solving, and perseverance in a supportive environment. By completing meaningful projects from start to finish, students build self-esteem and discover new interests.

Big picture, the vocational class aims to equip students with skills they can use in future careers, foster a sense of accomplishment, and inspire hope for what they can achieve.
