PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Village Ranch, Inc. is seeking a Program Director to oversee and manage all aspects of our Residential Program for adolescent males in our Baxter, Minnesota group home.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the management of the facility (group home) and direct care staff ensuring residents are cared for and all requirements of licensure (Department of Corrections, Rule 2960) is complied with.

  • Responsible for case management of resident files providing various documentation including, but not limited to, staffing reports, financial records, med sheets, daily charting, and intake/discharge documents.

  • Responsible for ensuring necessary staffing for facility.

  • Responsible for active communication and collaboration with the resident’s treatment team including the placing agents, family, and mental health staff.

  • Responsible at certain times for supervision of residents.

  • Responsible for making critical decisions regarding programming, staffing, and residents.

Working Hours: This position is full-time (40+ hours/week), in person, requiring a schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Evening and weekend availability to direct care staff may be needed.

Qualifications: Must be well organized with the ability to multi-task and build positive relationships with placing agents, families, residents, and others within the Village Ranch Continuum of Service. Must be able to manage staff and training required to perform their duties.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in social work or criminal justice preferred, and/or 2 years’ experience in residential services. Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a Background Study, as required by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONAL:
LICENSED OR PRE-LICENSED THERAPIST WITH SUPERVISION PROVIDED

Village Ranch Child and Family Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time and/or part-time Mental Health Professional (licensed or pre-licensed with Supervision provided) to provide mental health therapy in a school-based setting as well as at our residential group home.

Job Overview:

  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the mental health services for clients

  • Conduct Diagnostic Assessments and develop related treatment plans

  • Provide ongoing therapy with students

  • Provide parent updates and support toward treatment plan goals

  • Maintain ongoing and timely documentation of services

  • Supervision included for licensure track professionals

Job Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Mental Health field

  • Must be licensed or on licensure track for one of the following: LPCC, LP, LMFT, LICSW

  • Experience working with school-aged population

  • Able to complete timely and accurate documentation in an Electronic Medical Record system

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time openings.

Salary: $55,000-$75,000 annually based on qualifications.

DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL FOR YOUTH

Full-time starting at $23/hour.

This unique role in our Cokato facility provides the day-to-day care and supervision, instruction, and support to help adolescent boys succeed at the goals set up in their treatment plan.
